CRP-S110: Ceramics Basics

This is a a two part class that covers the basics of creating ceramics. No particular skill level is required. The first class covers: wedging, centering and creating basic forms. Students will receive instruction, and time practice. Proper cleaning of work space and storing projects. 

The second class covers; trimming forms from previous class, introduction to basic surface work in its greenware state, studio cleanup and how to recycle your clay.   

Please bring an apron to the workshop sessions. The instructor will provide each student with a 25 lb bag of cone 6 clay.
