KWL-W103: KidWind High School Solar Team

This is the Leesburg High School KidWind SOLAR Team coached by Ms. Carol Grigg and Mr. Dan Schmidt with technical support provided by Mr. Gary DuFour.  Students in this group are in grades 9-12. The team will be meeting from 1pm-4pm on Sunday afternoons in the downstairs Leesburg Makersmiths classroom and in the main room as needed.  On March 17, the team will participate in the Northern VA Regional KidWind Challenge, an all-day event, at the Potomac Science Center in Woodbridge, VA.

Please note, KidWind states no more than 4 participants per team. This event is built for no more than 8 students in order to have no more than two teams.

Since most participants are returning to KidWind from last year, they will be pre-registered with parents sent notification to pay the registration fee online. Registration for any new high school solar team member will open when all returning students are registered and openings are available.

All parents of new team members must sign this waiver and include the name and grade of the child participating in this group. Complete the Waiver Form prior to coming to class. To fill out the form online, go to:
