BNL-R200: BN2-20 Advanced Red Tool - Additional Media (HTV, Banner, Holographic, Clear)

In this advanced red tool class for the BN2-20, we will cover the other materials the machine is able to print on.

In this class we will print a heat transfer (HTV) T-Shirt using the print and cut feature and the transfer mask.  You will take home a printed T-shirt. 

After completing this class, you will be authorized to use additional types of media and change blades on the BN2-20.

Skills you will learn or will be discussed in this class:

• Printing with HTV/T-shirt vinyl

• Printing on glitter HTV/T-shirt vinyl

• Printing banners

• Printing holographic stickers

• Printing clear stickers

• Printing with white ink (when and how to use or request it be reloaded)

• Using different roll material widths

• Printing on fabrics

• Printing large format designs

• Replacing the blade for deeper cuts

• Setting up a new media 

• If you have media you want to test out, we can go over it and set it up only if there is time

Due to prep time, we will only be printing a preset, Makersmiths-themed design; no outside designs will be printed in the class. 

The instructor will bring a selection of T-shirts to print on, or you are welcome to bring your own T-shirt.  If you have an unusual size (4XL or larger, XS or child size), please let the instructor know so they can make sure you have some options. You may bring in your own shirt or bag to print on as long as it's a correct type. 

All tools and supplies for this class will be provided.

Prerequisites: BN2-20 red tool basics class must be completed prior to this class. 

The class will meet in the main room at the Leesburg location.
