Let’s make a wooden gnome!
Each participant will have the opportunity to cut out the wooden base of the gnome on the band saw (if they are red tool trained) and sand it. Don’t worry - if you do not feel comfortable using the bandsaw, the instructor can help. Once the wood piece is ready, the real fun will start. You can either hang out in the main room to paint and add the beard/mustache/eyebrows or take the kit home. Students must be signed off on the MS-L Woodshop to use the bandsaw. If the student is not red tool trained, then the instructor will help them cut out the gnome on the bandsaw.
All tools and materials (wood, paint, painter’s tape, fur, and glue) will be provided.
This class is for beginners. All skill levels are welcome.
We will use the main room and woodshop at the Leesburg location.
