This is a great beginner sewing project for a parent working with a child ages 9+. Once you learn to make a scrunchie, you can duplicate this project on your own. This is a great project for making gifts or for yourself. When you make a scrunchie, you can also add a bow.
Bring your own cloth or we have a lot of cloth for you to choose from. Cotton cloth is the easiest to work with, but it needs to be at least 4 x 22 inches. Fat quarters sized fabric are perfect for this project.
