We are thrilled to announce a ceramic social at Makersmiths Purcellville, a gathering that promises to be a celebration of creativity and community for ceramic enthusiasts of all levels. Join us to continue your pots’ journey, whether it be from hand building, slab rolling, to throwing, trimming, or glazing. We are excited to come together to learn from each other and share our creativity while forming lasting friendships. We hope you can wedge this into your schedule!
Let this time be a vessel to grow your knowledge and share your creativity. We don’t want to muddy the waters, but this is a time for all things clay, whether you are starting a project, moving one along, or working on holiday gifts. This is a great time to create new pieces, glaze those pieces which have been sitting on the shelf for a while, or learn a new technique from a fellow maker.
All skills are welcome. All supplies will be made available along with the spaces' clay, tools, and glazes.
If you are new to ceramics or have been working with clay for years, we hope you will join us in the red brick building at Makersmiths-Purcellville for our first ceramics social. The small fee will be used to cover snacks and beverages.
