MS-P Getting to Know Your Cricut

This class is designed for those who own a Cricut cutting machine but are relatively new to using it.   We will create a "project" using the free Cricut Design Space app and cut it out for assembly.  We will explore Basic Shapes and learn to create your own customized shapes for a project. Participants are also encouraged to bring a simple image (such a JPG, GIF, PNG) to convert to SVG format that their Cricut will cut. The free program Cutecutter will be used in the conversion. 

 The instructor will also provide instructional handouts, including "Cheat Sheets" to help users remember the tool options when working in Design Space. A list of the instructor's Cricut project sites will be shared as well as the online Cricut maker instructors she follows.

• Bring a laptop with Design Space loaded. Remember your login and password.
• Bring your Cricut cutting machine, mats, and weeding tools.

The class will meet in the Green Room at Makersmiths Purcellville. If you are new to Makersmiths, please fill out the waiver form.
