Upcycling is cool!

In this make & take class, we will find a new use for some old jeans that were headed to the trash. We will cut and sew it into a garden apron, and you will also get some other ideas of what to make with the rest of the material. We will start with a super easy sewing project - turning a kids t-shirt into a reusable shopping bag!

Students should bring an old pair of jeans and a kids size t-shirt.

Students will be provided with a sewing machine, thread, bias tape, and leather scraps to make extra loops.

Basic machine sewing skills are helpful, but not required. This class is open to all skill levels.

This class will meet in the main room at the Leesburg location.
