Basic Laser Cutter Skill Class

This class will show you the basic usage of the laser cutter at Makersmiths along with safety considerations. After this class you will be authorized to use the laser.

In this class, students will learn to create a wooden coaster using the laser cutter.  Students should bring a file in SVG format, no larger than 3.5" x 3.5".  If you have questions about converting your file into SVG format, please contact the instructor. 

This class does not go into detail on using design software, such as Inkscape or Corel Draw.

• Tips, Hints, and having FUN
• Hands on Training and Use
