Let's make a leather shop apron, without any sewing!
In this make & take class, we will make a leather shop apron, using grommets to attach the neck and waist straps.
We will cut out apron pieces (body, neck strap, two waist straps) from a large piece of cow leather. Then mark the cut pieces for the grommet holes and burnish the edges and holes. Finally, add the hardware. Students will have the option to add some small optional personalization with the laser cutter machine.
All tools and supplies will be provided. Students will be supplied with enough leather to make their apron, hardware to put it together, and packet of burnishing lotion.
No prequisites required. This class is open to all skill levels.
This class will meet in the main room at the Leesburg location.
