Middle School Students Gr. 4-8 – $50.00
Parents must sign a waiver specifying their youth has permission to participate in this workshop series. Registration fee for the high school team is per family, but full registration information for each high school youth who is a member of the family must be given upon registration.

This workshop event will run 10 weeks, beginning Jan. 6, ending March 10, and will be held at Makersmiths-Leesburg in the main room's craft area from 6:00-7:30pm on Friday evenings. Students in grades 4-8 will be coached by AJ Taylor, a Makersmiths member. Students will learn about renewable energies related to wind power, electronics, climate change, and much more in preparation for building a KidWind solar project to enter into the Northern VA regional challenge on Wednesday March 15 at Shenandoah University.
