In this class, students will learn to create an account in Cricut Design Space, if needed. They will learn how to create a "project" in Design Space and cut it with the Cricut Explore 2 located in the craft room. Participants are encouraged to bring a simple image (compatible file formats are JPG, GIF, PNG, BMP, SVG, and DXF) on a flash drive for cutting out of cardstock or adhesive vinyl. The instructor will demonstrate how to use the "Print then Cut" feature for creating multicolored stickers on printable vinyl. Participants may choose to bring a device to class and download Design Space († Available for Windows® and Mac® computers and iOS and Android™ devices) to begin creating projects. The app is free.

The class will meet in the sewing/crafts area of the main room at Makersmiths-Leesburg. This is a beginner level class and the instructor will provide instructional handouts. Optional for students to bring to class: a laptop or other device, USB drive with saved image.
