MS-L Advanced 3D Printing - Modifying STL files to print large models

This class will use the free Meshmixer software so show how to split large models into multiple pieces with built-in pins or tabs so that they may easily be reassembled once printed.  This allows you to print any STL file at virtually any size in either the resin or FDM 3D printers.

No 3D modelling skills needed, but familiarity with 3D printing is recommended. 

We will not be printing during this class, but feel free to bring a STL file that you'd like to prepare to print.

This class will meet in the small classroom.
