MS-L 3D Printing - Filament-FDM

In this class, at our Leesburg Location, learn how to turn plastic filament into useful items! The class is designed for those new to this process that uses a special-purpose printer that melts and forms spools of plastic filament into 3-dimensional objects.

The class certifies you to use the 3d Printers on your own. We will review each of the printers we have at our space, how to prepare a 3d file for printing, and each person will have the opportunity to take home their first 3d printed trinket.

We will meet in the 3D printing room and classroom at Makersmiths-Leesburg. Please note- we will not review how to design a 3d object for printing. Look for 3D Design Classes for Fusion 360 or TinkerCad.
