MS-L Woodturning Open Shop

During Woodturning Open Shop hours, an experienced Woodturning instructor will be available to help members with projects, questions, and training. 

What the Woodturning room will provide:

• Lathes

• Turning tools

• Grinder for sharpening tools

• Some spindle stock for practice

• The Woodturning room only has 3 lathes so please use the channel #Woodturning to reserve a lathe if you need one during the Open Shop event.

• If you have a project please provide details at channel #Woodturning so the instructor can provide feedback and get prepared. You will need to provide your own wood and the instructor can help if given advanced notice.

Safety requirements: Wear closed-toed shoes, short sleeves, and eye protection (bring yours or use ours).

There is no charge for this event, but donations are welcome and always appreciated.
