MS-L Stem Lingo Introduction

This workshop is an introduction to Stem Lingo for the Makersmiths' members of the KidWind Middle School team. The students will be introduced to circuits, programming and microcontrollers while making 2 fun projects. For each project, the programs would be developed in stages. The class will be held in the classroom of the Leesburg Makersmiths space and would culminate with the 4 students:

Playing their musical instruments in unison – video recording.

Challenging each other to test their reaction time to a light, and then a sound stimulus.

They would each take home a copy of the PowerPoint  presentation.

If this workshop is successful with the KidWind team members, future sessions will be planned and opened to Makersmiths' youth and general public.
