In this make and take workshop, the instructor will demonstrate his musical instruments, and then show participants how to hook things up, upload code, and download, install, and use a free MIDI editor to do pretty much the same thing.
The instructor will provide one +5V 10A power supply, twenty floppy drives, some 3-in and 12-in hookup wire (M-M, M-F, F-F assortment), One Teensy ++ 2.0. If participants want to assemble their own to keep, please bring floppy drives, +5V PSU, power wiring (~18-22 AWG), hookup wiring (20-26 AWG), terminals, crimper, terminal housings, box to carry floppy drives in their performance orientation. The instructor also suggests a Teensy 3.6 already prepared to accept connections to pins.
Once you are registered, a tutorial site and YouTube Channel on this process will be provided. The website has download links to MIDI files to play.
