MS-L-CNC Introduction

This class for Makersmiths members will introduce participants to CNC basics for using the new CNC machine. We will review how to use VCarve to design 2d part for cutting, how to setup the machine and how to run the machine. This will be the first in a series of classes that will be required to use the CNC independently. 

We will be making signs that are 8in x 12-24 inches long. These will be made out of pine, but if a different wood is desired the student will need to bring their own wood. Students should also bring a laptop with VCarve trial installed. This is available from https://www.vectric.com/downloads/trial-software.html
